About the Procurement Team: The Procurement Team at EVOS is dedicated to ensuring seamless operations at all terminals by consistently securing top-tier products and services at the most favourable prices. Our focus is on sustaining business continuity through a strategic approach to total cost ownership.
About the role: The Procurement and Contract Manager reports directly to the Group Procurement Manager and oversees the procurement process and manages contracts with suppliers, vendors, and service providers. While the primary focus is on Operational Technology (OT), this role also extends to other procurement areas as needed.
The position ensures that all procurement activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
The Procurement and Contract Manager will also develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to meet the organization's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers specializing in Operational Technology solutions, industrial software, automation systems, and maintenance services
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and technology partners
Monitor supplier performance and address quality, compliance, and delivery issues
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts for OT-related procurement
Ensure contracts meet legal, regulatory, and cybersecurity standards
Manage contract renewals, amendments, and vendor performance to maximize value
Identify procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, sustainability requirements, and internal procurement policies.
Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities and contribute to procurement savings targets
Conduct commercial and cost-benefit analyses to support sourcing decisions
Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Operations, and HSSEQ teams to align procurement strategies with business needs
Act as the primary contact for Operational Technology procurement-related matters

About you:
Experience & Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or a related role
Technical knowledge of Operational Technology and experience with OT procurement in an industrial environment
Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and regulations
Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English, written and verbal; Dutch is considered an advantage
