Configuration Specialist

In this role, you will be part of the quality department and will be responsible for managing and organizing all technical documentation to support the company’s satellite products and services. Your primary focus will be ensuring compliance with quality requirements and adherence to established processes, including design specifications, component selection, and material selection. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of satellites and their subsystems, ensuring they are designed and built to perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

Specific tasks and responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain the configuration management plan, ensuring alignment with project requirements and standards.
• Track the status and history of all configurations throughout the project or product lifecycle.
• Support the development and maintenance of technical documentation through close collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Organize and categorize documentation for easy access and retrieval.
• Conduct reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure documentation meets established standards and guidelines.
• Assist in the implementation of documentation processes and best practices.
• Provide training and support to internal teams on how to use and access documentation effectively.
• BSc. degree in a relevant subject.
• 2+ years of experience in a relevant position, focused on documentation- and data management.
• Experience with technical documentation is a plus.
• Strong writing and editing skills in English (C1/C2), with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency with documentation- and configuration management tools and software, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and PLM.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
