Propulsion Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

Plan, develop, and execute tests at equipment, subsystem, and system level to verify and validate space systems

Prepare, maintain, and continuously improve test documentation, including test plans, specifications, procedures, scripts, test reports, and non-conformance resolution activities

Specify, procure, develop, maintain, and enhance test equipment and test infrastructures

Coordinate internal and external stakeholders in the planning, organization, and execution of test campaigns, including logistics, transportation, and test setup/decommissioning activities

Provide technical leadership and support to colleagues and advise subsystem engineers on testing methodologies, hardware concepts, and verification strategies

Support test campaigns, launch and commissioning activities, as well as in-orbit verification of space systems while ensuring effective knowledge transfer through lessons learned and best practices

Your Qualifications

Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical qualification

Experience working with flight, test, or integration hardware and in performing technical testing and verification activities

Proficiency with software tools for data acquisition, analysis, and evaluation of test results

Experience working in cleanroom environments with a strong focus on quality and safety standards

High level of accountability, reliability, and a hands-on mindset, combined with strong communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to travel extensively and work shifts during test campaigns, launch and early operations phases, and in-orbit verification activities
