Sushi Chef / General chef

Sushi Fanatics has always been aiming at producing high quality authentic Japanese sushi, adhering to traditional best practices, sourcing high quality ingredients, and harnessing our creativity in designing new dishes.

We also have one of the most sought-after Omakase experiences, Shigure, in Amsterdam.

In the meanwhile we are opening a new izakaya restaurant in Ceintuurbaan, Amsterdam.

We are looking for experienced sushi chef (Part time / Full time) to help as well as grow together with us in this journey.

Job requirements:

- At least 1 year of experience in sushi

- Prepare sushi and other dishes, keep the work environment clean

- Spoken English is required

- Humble and respect genuine Sushi and Japanese Cuisine traditions

- Knowledge of HACCP

- Flexible to work between 2 locations in Amsterdam (Andreas Bonnstraat and Ceintuurbaan)

- Have the legal rights to live and work in the Netherlands

We offer:

- Gross salary of €2200 - €5200 per month plus tips (depending on skills & experience, and type of pay structure e.g. freelancing) . Other terms are in line with market. Hours range from 30-60. Experienced ZZP will get highest rate per hour

- First contract is 6 months and will be extended if performance meets our standard.

- Hours are flexible upon discussion but must be available on fridays and saturdays
