The Role As part of our bar team, you’ll be providing warm, and genuine guest-focused service. Our baristas set the tone, and the way you connect with people will matter just as much as the drinks you make.

On any given shift, you’ll be:

  • Pouring latte art that puts a smile on someone’s face
  • Guiding guests through our retail shelves and helping them find beans they’ll love
  • Opening/closing the café with care
  • Making coffee and non-coffee drinks (matcha, teas, cold brew)
  • Prepping ingredients that keep service smooth (batching matcha, brewing syrups, chilling cold brew, etc.)
  • Sharing ideas for new drinks and retail offerings

What We Offer

  • Premium kit: La Marzocco Linea PB, Mahlkönig grinders, EK43, Eureka Zeus single Doser, top brewing tools
  • €15,0–€16,5 per hour + 8% holiday pay (based on skill/experience)
  • Shared tips, staff discounts, and a free bag of beans every month
  • No evening shifts & flexible rosters (with at least one weekend day off)
  • 16–32 hrs/week (part-time), depending on your availability
  • Ongoing training with SCA-certified trainers + annual expo opportunities
  • Extra hours sometimes pop up for after hours events
  • A supportive team that’s serious about coffee but not about ego

You’ll Fit Right In If You:

  • Stay cool under pressure and consistent during peak hours and enjoy working in a team
  • Love making someone’s day with a smile, a coffee, and genuine hospitality
  • Have at least 2 years of specialty coffee barista experience and are willing to learn how we do things
  • Can pour latte art with confidence
  • Know your way around steaming oat, soy, almond, and other milk alternatives
  • Bring good energy, teamwork, and a clean, efficient workflow
  • Speak English comfortably (conversational Dutch is a bonus)

Location We’re very close to the Meent shopping district in central Rotterdam.

Start date is flexible but sooner is cooler!
