Automotive Hardware & Electrical Troubleshooting Engineer

We are hiring a practical, hands-on HW & Electrical Troubleshooting Engineer to maintain physical vehicle fleet health and wiring integrity. In this role, you will diagnose electrical glitches, fix straightforward wiring issues, and manufacture custom breakout cables to keep test vehicles operational.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hardware and electrical wiring fault tracing on test vehicles.
• Resolve minor/simpler electrical and hardware issues on-site.
• Fabricate custom adapters and breakout cables as required for diagnostic work.
• Identify complex electrical issues and coordinate with the main electrical workshop for major repairs.
• Document hardware modifications and fault tracking in Jira/Confluence.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in automotive hardware/electrical wiring fault tracing and repair.
• Practical skilled knowledge in creating breakout cables, adapters, and working with wiring harnesses.
• Experience with automotive electrical systems (TEA2+ truck platform experience is a plus).
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude toward keeping fleet uptime high.
• C or CE heavy truck driver’s license.
• Work permit in Sweden.
