We are now looking for a Tech Lead within API & Integration & who wants to play a central role in modernizing our digital landscape and driving innovation across the company.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who is passionate about integration architecture, cloud technologies, APIs, automation and the rapidly evolving AI space.
You will be part of Scandic IT, managing a team of developers while working closely with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver scalable solutions that connect our business-critical platforms and unlock new opportunities through data and AI.
About the role
As Tech Lead for API & Integration you will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of Scandic's integration and API landscape while supporting the adoption of AI-powered solutions and automations.
You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, helping teams design, build and operate modern services and integrations that support both business growth and operational excellence.
Your key responsibilities

- Supporting the development and governance of Scandic's API and Integration platform and services
- Driving API-first principles and reusable integration patterns across the organization
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, lead developers and other product teams
- Coaching and mentoring development teams
- Managing and tracking team and technology budget
- Ensuring security, scalability, maintainability and operational excellence
- Supporting vendor evaluations and technical decision-making
- Evaluating emerging technologies and AI capabilities
- Contributing to Scandic's long-term technology roadmap
- Supporting the development and governance of Scandic's API and Integration platform and services
