Supply Chain & Quality Manager - Cabin Seat (f/m/d)

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Supply Chain & Quality Manager (SCQM) to take the lead in managing the quality, compliance, and industrial readiness of our global cabin seating suppliers.

Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Act as focal point towards the suppliers for operational activities and contract management, and as ambassador of the supplier toward internal functions..
- Perform an effective control of supplier activities, securing a close understanding of the delivery and quality conformity of the product
- Implement recovery, improvement and development plan in order to secure delivery of the products and services in conformity covering quality, delivery.
- Coordinate the stakeholders involved in the supplier operations management and contribute to the corresponding Multi-Functional or Divisional Team (MFT) Manage/contribute to supplier On Quality On Time (OQOT) performance.
- Manage supplier quality Approval/Authorization, ensure that suppliers are compliant with certifications required in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Managing suppliers’ quality recoveries and following-up of the quality actions plan of the suppliers via root cause analysis (RCA) 9S / PPS problem solving methodologies

- Problem Solving & Risk Mitigation: Proven track record in solving quality problems, anticipating and mitigating risks, and managing uncertainty across complex scenarios
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Education: Engineering or other relevant technical degree. Professional Experience: At least 4 years of experience, ideally in Quality, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Production
- Domain Background: Industrial background—specifically in Manufacturing Engineering or Quality—is a strong plus. Experience in Cabin perimeter is highly appreciated
- Languages: Business/negotiation fluency in English; proficiency in French and/or German is an asset
