Are you an Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys working with technology on a scale and using data to understand, improve, and optimize complex IT environments? Flying Tiger Copenhagen is looking for someone to join our Infrastructure Operations team and help shape the infrastructure that supports our retail business.
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for the technical health, availability, performance, and continuous improvement of the infrastructure behind our retail stores. This includes point-of-sale systems, in-store networks, endpoints, and the platforms and services that connect them. You will also take on broader infrastructure responsibilities spanning cloud identity, device management, and network administration, growing into a well-rounded infrastructure engineer who can support the wider IT estate with a clear path to broader infrastructure ownership and the opportunity to shape our store IT standards.
You will become part of an international environment at our HQ in Christianshavn, Copenhagen.
Responsibilities include:
- Own the day-to-day health, performance, and availability of POS systems and in-store IT infrastructure.
- Act as the escalation point for store-related infrastructure incidents.
- Support the planning and execution of the ongoing POS system refresh, including hardware rollout, configuration, and similar activities.
- Maintain and troubleshoot networking equipment deployed in stores.
- Coordinate with store staff, outsourced field engineers, and vendors to schedule maintenance, hardware replacements, and new store rollouts.
- Use Kaseya VSA X and related RMM tooling for monitoring, patching, and remote support across the hardware estate.
Who you are:
Ideally, you bring experience like:
- 5+ years of experience in an infrastructure, systems, or field/site engineering role, ideally in a multi-site or retail environment.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems, retail hardware, or similar distributed store/site IT equipment.
- Experience with network hardware administration. Familiarity with Cisco Meraki is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with ITSM tooling for incident, request, and change management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, ownership mentality, and ability to work both independently and with outsourced partners.
- Knowledge of a 24/7 environment where sense of urgency is sometimes required.
- Experience with RMM platforms such as Kaseya VSA X, Hexnode etc.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune (or comparable MDM/identity platforms).
