THE TEAM

You will be part of the Food & Beverage team at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, working closely with Restaurant Management, Culinary teams, Sommeliers, and service professionals across our dining venues.

This role plays a key part in creating exceptional first and last impressions while ensuring a seamless and personalized dining experience that reflects Rosewood's commitment to intuitive service and luxury hospitality.

YOUR ROLE

As Host / Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play an integral role in shaping their dining experience. You will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest interactions with professionalism and genuine care.

Through your attention to detail and passion for hospitality, you will curate the extraordinary by creating meaningful first impressions and ensuring every guest feels personally recognized and valued throughout their visit.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally, creating memorable first impressions upon arrival
• Manage reservations, table allocations, and seating arrangements efficiently while maximizing the guest experience
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations, menus, special events, and promotions
• Build genuine connections with guests, recognizing preferences and creating personalized experiences
• Coordinate closely with Restaurant Managers, Sommeliers, Chefs, and service teams to ensure seamless operations
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach
• Maintain accurate guest profiles and reservation records within the reservation system
• Monitor restaurant flow and waiting times to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest journey
• Support the team in delivering exceptional service standards and memorable dining experiences
• Ensure reception and host areas remain organized, welcoming, and aligned with Rosewood brand standards
• Act as a brand ambassador by embodying Rosewood's values, service philosophy, and Sense of Place

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You have previous experience in a Host / Hostess, Reception, Front Office, or guest-facing hospitality role, ideally within luxury hospitality
• You possess a warm, confident, and engaging personality with a genuine passion for guest service
• You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• You are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• You have a strong attention to detail and a natural ability to anticipate guest needs
• You remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure
• You enjoy building relationships and creating personalized experiences for guests
• You are comfortable using reservation and guest management systems
• You speak fluent English; German and additional languages are a strong advantage
• You are flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
