To help lead this transformation, we are looking for a Director of Product.

As Director of Product, you will play a defining leadership role in shaping the future operating model of Rituals. Reporting to the Executive Director Tech & Data and serving as a member of the Tech & Data Management Team, you will build and lead the Product organisation while helping Rituals embrace a fundamentally different way of working.

This role goes far beyond leading Product Managers and Product Owners. You will be the driving force behind the evolution from project-based delivery towards outcome-driven product ownership across the organisation. You will work closely with senior business leaders, the Director of Engineering, Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise IT to create an environment where empowered teams are able to discover opportunities, solve meaningful problems and continuously improve the products and capabilities they own.

You will challenge existing structures, decision-making processes and ways of working where needed, while building on the strong foundations already established. Your focus will be on creating clarity, reducing complexity and helping teams move faster by removing unnecessary dependencies, handovers and bureaucracy.

As a strategic partner to business leadership, you will help shift conversations away from "what should we build?" towards "which problems should we solve?" and "how do we create measurable value?". By strengthening product leadership, introducing outcome-based thinking and embedding continuous improvement throughout the organisation, you will help Rituals become increasingly adaptive, efficient and customer-centred.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Lead the transformation from a project-oriented delivery model towards a mature, outcome-driven Product organisation with clear ownership, accountability and measurable value creation.
• Build and develop Product leadership capabilities across Value Streams, Product Leads, Product Owners and Product Management communities, creating a strong culture of coaching, growth and continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture and Business leadership to establish empowered multidisciplinary teams organised around customer journeys, business capabilities and strategic outcomes.
• Drive product strategy, prioritisation, investment decisions and value measurement, ensuring scarce capacity is focused on the highest-impact opportunities.
• Contribute to the design, adoption and evolution of the Rituals Product Operating Model, enabling greater organisational effectiveness, efficiency and long-term scalability.

You are an experienced Product leader who has successfully helped organisations transition from managing projects to managing products. You understand that sustainable competitive advantage comes from empowered teams, clear ownership, evidence-based decision making and relentless customer focus. You know how to balance strategic transformation with operational excellence and are comfortable leading through complexity, ambiguity and change.

You combine deep product expertise with strong organisational leadership. You are able to inspire executives, challenge existing thinking constructively and create alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. Equally, you enjoy coaching leaders, developing talent and building cultures where people can perform at their best.

Most importantly, you recognise that transformation is not achieved through new processes or organisational charts alone. Real change happens when people adopt new behaviours, take ownership and continuously improve how they create value together.

THIS IS YOU

• Extensive experience in senior Product leadership roles within organisations that have successfully adopted or matured a product-oriented operating model.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale organisational transformation, particularly the transition from project-based delivery towards product-led ways of working.
• Strong experience building and developing Product leadership, coaching senior Product professionals and creating high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated success partnering with Engineering and Business leaders to deliver measurable customer, operational and commercial outcomes.
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders, drive strategic change and lead complex organisations through periods of significant transformation.
