THE TEAM

The In Room Dining team is dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences within the comfort and privacy of our guests' rooms and suites. With a focus on personalized service, attention to detail, and operational excellence, the team plays a key role in delivering the luxury hospitality experience for which Rosewood Schloss Fuschl is known.

YOUR ROLE

As a Waiter / Waitress – In Room Dining, you will be responsible for delivering seamless and memorable dining experiences directly to our guests. Through warm, genuine hospitality and careful attention to detail, you will ensure that every order is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards.

Working closely with Culinary, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and Front Office teams, you will contribute to creating exceptional moments that exceed guest expectations and reflect the Rosewood philosophy of relationship hospitality.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Deliver warm, professional, and personalized service to guests, ensuring a memorable in-room dining experience.

• Prepare, set up, deliver, and collect In Room Dining orders according to Rosewood standards.

• Ensure all orders are accurate, complete, and presented impeccably before delivery.

• Build genuine connections with guests and anticipate their needs through attentive and intuitive service.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of food, beverage, and wine offerings in order to confidently explain menus and make recommendations.

• Support departmental revenue goals through effective upselling and suggestive selling.

• Accurately process orders, billing transactions, and room charges.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of service stations, pantries, and storage areas.

• Collaborate closely with other hotel departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Consistently uphold Rosewood, Forbes Travel Guide, LQA, health, safety, and hygiene standards.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel, restaurant, room service, or food & beverage environment is preferred.

• Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm and engaging personality.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.

• Good command of English; German language skills are an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and wine is beneficial.

• Experience with POS systems is an asset.

• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

• A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues across departments.
