Are you the kind of person who always knows what’s going on, where to get the best coffee in town, and how to make people feel right at home even in a brand new city? Then you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

THIS HO(S)TEL is not your average hostel. We’re a fresh, design-driven, cube-style ho(s)tel located just steps from Amsterdam Central Station. Think: private sleeping pods, a buzzing bar and restaurant, self check-in tech, and a guest app full of insider tips. Basically, we’re what happens when a cool hotel and a social hostel have a really stylish baby.

We’re on the hunt for a new All-round Hostel Host, someone who’s friendly, switched-on, and ready to welcome travelers from all over the world. As the first person guests see when they arrive, you'll play a key role in creating a great experience from start to finish, both at reception and in our food & beverage outlets.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the face of the place (no pressure!), making sure guests feel welcome, informed, and ready to explore Amsterdam.

· Be an all-round host, helping guests with anything from check-in questions to food, drinks, and recommendations

• Help set up, maintain, and host our breakfast service to give guests a great start to their day
• Support our Mexican Restaurant Fiona during evening shifts when needed
• Answer questions in person, by email, and over the phone
• Manage bookings, cancellations, and changes through our system (we use MEWS)
• Keep things running smoothly with housekeeping and maintenance
• Process payments and issue invoices like a boss
• Share your insider knowledge of the city where to eat, what to see, how to dodge the tourist traps
• Keep the reception area looking sharp and organized
• Pass along guest feedback or issues to the team so we can keep improving

Who You Are

We’re looking for good vibes and great energy.

• You're happy combining front office duties with hands-on food & beverage tasks
• You’ve got hospitality or front desk experience (hostels/hotels = bonus points)
• You speak fluent English; Dutch or any other languages are a big plus
• You’re cool with tech and know your way around a computer (MEWS experience is golden)
• You stay calm under pressure and can juggle multiple tasks with a smile
• You live in or near Amsterdam and are ready to dive into the city scene
• Most importantly, you love meeting new people and making their day better
