Job Summary
This role is responsible for guiding technical delivery in complex data integration projects, driving best practices in Ab Initio, ANSI SQL, and Unix Shell scripting. The position focuses on optimizing solution quality, ensuring process compliance, and supporting successful project outcomes through advanced proficiency in relevant technologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide advanced proficiency in designing, developing, and optimizing data integration workflows using Ab Initio, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
2. Oversee code reviews and implement quality assurance processes utilizing Ab Initio and Unix Shell scripting to maintain high standards in project deliverables.
3. Optimize database queries and data transformation logic using ANSI SQL for performance and reliability in enterprise data pipelines.
4. Ensure compliance with organizational processes and take part in technical feasibility discussions by assessing Ab Initio architecture options, evaluating technical risks, and contributing to project estimations.
5. Collaborate within the project team to define solution scope and objectives, leveraging technical expertise in Ab Initio to address escalations and ensure successful delivery.
Skill Requirements
1. Advanced proficiency in designing, developing, and troubleshooting Ab Initio graphs and components.
2. Solid skills in ANSI SQL for complex query development, performance tuning, and data manipulation.
3. Strong understanding of Unix Shell scripting for automation, integration, and operational support in data workflows.
4. Good knowledge of ETL architectures, data modeling concepts, and performance optimization strategies.
5. Experience with implementing coding standards and best practices in Ab Initio environments.
