THE TEAM

As part of our Florist team, you will support the creation of beautiful floral arrangements that bring our spaces to life and enhance the guest experience. Working closely with our Florists and operational teams, you will gain hands-on experience in floral design, flower care, event setup, and maintaining the exceptional presentation standards that define Rosewood. Reporting to the Florist, you will play an important role in helping create memorable moments through creativity and attention to detail.

YOUR ROLE

As a Florist Intern, you will support the day-to-day operations of the Floral Design department while developing your skills in floral artistry and design. Through your creativity, willingness to learn, and eye for detail, you will assist with preparing arrangements, caring for flowers and plants, and supporting floral installations throughout the hotel. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a luxury hospitality environment while contributing to the aesthetic beauty of the property.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Assist in the preparation and assembly of floral arrangements for guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, and special events.
• Support the care and maintenance of fresh flowers, plants, and floral inventory.
• Help receive, condition, and store flowers and related supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the floral workshop and storage areas.
• Assist with setting up and dismantling floral displays for functions, celebrations, and seasonal installations.
• Monitor floral displays throughout the hotel and support replacements or refreshes as required.
• Learn and follow Rosewood standards for floral presentation and quality.
• Support the florist team with daily operational tasks and creative projects.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You are currently studying or have recently completed a qualification in Floristry, Horticulture, Design, Hospitality, or a related field.
• You have a genuine interest in floral design, creativity, and visual presentation.
• You are eager to learn and develop your skills within a luxury hospitality environment.
• You have strong attention to detail and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
• You are organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• You work well as part of a team and enjoy collaborating with others.
• You communicate professionally and bring a positive and enthusiastic attitude to your work.
