About this role

As our Deputy General Counsel - Partnerships, you will lead our global legal strategy for partner arrangements, ecosystem expansion, and B2B growth. Embedded in the Legal department, you will empower senior leadership to lead with confidence, deliver high-value strategic deals, and care for our global commercial relationships. In this role, you will shape enterprise risk principles, drive commercial velocity, and build a high-performing legal team in a fast-paced environment.

Location: This role can be based in Amsterdam, London, or Berlin. Reporting to: General Counsel

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Own JET's global legal strategy for strategic commercial arrangements, partner ecosystems, and corporate customer-facing matters.
• Serve as the strategic voice on contract strategy, risk allocation, and negotiation frameworks for major commercial agreements.
• Architect the enterprise approach for partnership disputes, contract escalations, and non-standard deal structures.
• Lead legal strategy for major business development initiatives, integrations, and high-value strategic partnerships.
• Build scalable central legal infrastructure, including templates, negotiation guardrails, and approval processes across markets.
• Define and align partner-facing legal strategy across central functions and regional markets to ensure consistent execution.
• Build and lead a high-performing Partnerships legal team, fostering a culture of commercial impact and continuous development.

What will you bring to the team?

• Deep expertise in international commercial contracts, strategic negotiations, and shaping commercial legal strategy at scale.
• Proven ability to build pragmatic, scalable legal solutions for complex partnerships while balancing risk and commercial velocity.
• Thoughtful judgement on commercial risk, with the confidence to establish risk principles and guide senior stakeholders.
• Exceptional collaboration skills to shape negotiation strategy and align commercial and central teams across matrixed environments.
• Demonstrated success in building central legal infrastructure, including templates and approval architectures, to drive speed.
• Leadership capability to mentor, elevate, and support a team handling high-volume, strategic workloads.
• Strategic acumen supporting complex corporate development, integrations, and transaction coordination frameworks.
