Role Summary
Seeking a CAE Crash Safety Engineer to support occupant protection development for frontal and rear crash scenarios. The role involves performing crash simulations, occupant analysis, and safety performance evaluations to meet regulatory and safety targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CAE crash simulation models.
- Perform crash and occupant protection analyses using LS-DYNA, ANSA, and META Post.
- Analyze virtual and physical test results.
- Support development of safety concepts and simulation methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve crashworthiness and occupant safety.
- Present findings and technical recommendations.
Required Skills
- M.Sc. in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of CAE Crash Analysis experience.
- Hands-on experience with LS-DYNA, ANSA, and META Post.
- Experience with Occupant Analysis and crash test dummy simulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Human Body Models (HBM).
- Physical crash testing experience.
- Python, MATLAB, or scripting experience.
- Automotive product development knowledge.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Up to 2 500,00kr per day
