Set the direction for Kamstrup Water’s Project Execution
As Director of Project Execution you will lead, unify, and develop a newly established Project Execution team responsible for ensuring that all Water New Product Development projects are planned, resources managed, and executed according to agreed scope, timelines and budgets. As a pivotal member of the Water Leadership Team, you will be providing recommendations on portfolio prioritization, corrective actions, and key investment decisions.
More specifically, you will be:
- Shaping the direction of Project Execution, ensuring portfolio performance and value aligned with Water's strategy and product roadmaps
- Leading and developing a team of Project Managers by fostering engagement, accountability and collaboration
- Strengthening project management practices, governance, and execution across the Water organization
- Ensuring transparency across scope, resources, timelines, risks, budgets, and business cases
- Owning resource allocation across projects and functions in Water, including leading the monthly resource planning process while ensuring alignment of decencies with Heat/Cooling and Electricity
- Enabling cross-functional alignment, resource prioritization, and continuous improvement through digital tools, data-driven reporting, and AI-enabled productivity
- Driving quality, transparency, and consistency in all documentation and deliverables throughout the New Product Development process, from G0 to R5

Meet your future team
With a direct reference to the Senior Vice President - Water, you will lead the Project Execution, Water team, consisting of seven employees. The team has recently been established by bringing together project managers from both software and hardware development into one shared function. Together, you will challenge existing ways of working, simplify complexity, and build the project management competencies that will enable Water's future growth journey. As an integrated member of the Water Leadership Team, you will collaborate closely with Product Management, R&D, and Commercial teams. Positioned at the heart of decision-making and cross-functional collaboration, you will ensure that strategic priorities are translated into successful deliveries.

We are looking for an inspiring leader who can unite strategic thinking with execution. You achieve this through extensive stakeholder management and your ability to align senior leaders and drive decisions across functions, while developing a high-performing team with clear priorities, high engagement levels, and delivery accountability.
In order to succeed, we imagine that you:
- Have 3+ years of leadership experience and a comprehensive proven track record in complex new product development projects ideally from industrial electronics or software-enabled product environment
- Bring extensive competencies in project governance, program management, resource planning and executive reporting
- Possess an excellent understanding of project governance, portfolio management, resource planning, risk management, development processes, and executive reporting
- Turn strategy, customer needs, product roadmaps and technical realities into clear priorities and delivery plans
- Are structured, analytical, and decision-oriented with the ability to simplify complexity and create clarity for leadership teams
