Event Manager, Global Marketing

We are looking for an ambitious, passionate, and detail-oriented Event Manager who is eager to make an impact and join our Global Marketing team.

As our new Event Manager you will be responsible for the successful development and execution of 3Shape's global events (both physical and digital), from concept to delivery. This includes sharing best practices, developing event assets, providing guidance on event management, and establishing strong collaboration with our local markets.

The role will own the planning and production of a diverse portfolio of scalable event tools and initiatives, working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Sales, Partnerships, local markets, and leadership teams to deliver global event experiences that drive measurable business impact.

Additionally, you will contribute to building an Event Center of Excellence (CoE) across the company and have the opportunity to lead related end-to-end projects within Global Marketing. These projects will vary based on commercial priorities across our clinic, lab, and enterprise portfolios, as well as other strategic initiatives.

This position requires exceptional stakeholder management and strong project management skills. A key part of the role is briefing and collaborating with both internal and external teams, while independently driving event and project development from creative concept through planning and execution.

Your key responsibilities

As our new Event Manager, your key responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

• Support the planning and execution of key global events and product launches, delivering impactful experiences that support brand awareness, customer engagement, and commercial objectives.
• Building strong relationships with regional teams, ensuring a service-oriented approach and alignment with global priorities and guidelines.
• Supporting and advising key markets in the planning and execution of major marketing events.
• Owning and maintaining the local events calendar.
• Developing scalable, reusable toolkits for local markets, including creative concepts, visual assets, activation plans, merchandise, and planning templates.
• Identifying best practices and successful initiatives across markets and recommending future improvements.
• Tracking physical and digital event trends to identify opportunities, drive innovation, and improve processes.
• Managing event KPIs and reporting on event performance and ROI.

• Marketing experience in an international environment, including managing large-scale events.
• A strong commercial mindset, with an understanding of how industry events drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels, regions, and cultures, both within 3Shape and with external partners.
• A proactive, structured approach, with a focus on process improvement, problem-solving and change management.
• Strong project management capabilities and experience leading complex initiatives.
• A creative marketing skill set with a clear understanding of activation channels and their impact.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities and a resilience and resourcefulness when faced with ambiguity.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages, and knowledge of the medical industry are advantageous.
