Product Manager - Core AI
Channable · Utrecht, Netherlands
You apply off-site, with the employer or the job board. I never handle applications.
Deadline for applying: September 2nd at 17:00 CET
Are you looking for an exciting Product Management opportunity in one of the fastest-growing SaaS scale-ups in the Netherlands? Then look no further.
Your job
As the Product Manager for the Core AI team, you are responsible for enabling our customers to harness the power of AI directly within Channable.
We have already taken big steps by successfully automating feed setup workflows for major advertising platforms like Google and Meta, but this is just the beginning. Your focus will be extending these intelligent capabilities across complex e-commerce marketplaces, with major channels like Bol.com and Amazon serving as examples of what’s next on the roadmap.
Your main goal is to leverage AI to eliminate manual friction, automate repetitive user tasks, and radically elevate the user experience. By making feed mapping and categorization effortless through AI, your team will play a direct role in solving one of our biggest product objectives: radically reducing the time to value for customers expanding into new sales channels.
Your challenges
- Translate customer insights into clear product strategies, user-centric features, and well-defined roadmap items.
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI, finding innovative ways to automate repetitive workflows and eliminate setup friction.
- Lead the full product development lifecycle, guiding features from discovery through design to delivery.
- Write clear specifications and collaborate daily with Engineers, Product Designers, and QA to ensure AI features are both powerful and seamless to use.
- Foster an empowered, collaborative environment that aligns AI innovation with Channable’s broader business goals.
- Serve as an internal and external thought leader on how AI can empower our customers.
Who are you?
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in a B2B SaaS company.
- Familiarity with solving technical problems that strengthen customer-facing features.
- A proven track record of bringing solutions from 0-1 and iterating based on feedback.
- Demonstrable experience with product discovery, design, and delivery activities.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and anticipate future opportunities and challenges. You should also be able to bring internal stakeholders along on the journey, securing enthusiasm and support for your identified opportunities.
- Experience working in an e-commerce platform company or in a company within the e-commerce industry is a strong plus.
- Experience working with 3rd-party integrations and APIs is a strong plus.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Practical requirements:
- EU citizenship or a valid work permit for the Netherlands; you are preferably already living in the Netherlands.
- Available for at least 32 hours a week, with two days spent at the Utrecht office.
Important note: we understand that studies show women may only apply for roles when they feel they meet 100% of the requirements; therefore, we strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't check every box, as we are looking for passionate individuals with potential and a willingness to grow.
Your team
You will lead the product strategy for our dedicated Core AI team, working alongside talented Machine Learning Engineers and Fullstack Engineers, as well as collaborating closely with Product Designers and QA to ensure our intelligent features are both intuitive and rock-solid.
While your team focuses on building smart, proprietary models under the hood, you won't work in isolation. You will collaborate with Product Managers across other domains to ensure AI functionality is seamlessly embedded into the broader user journey.
