We're looking for a proactive and solution-oriented Housing Lead to help build and grow our housing practice. This is a new role with plenty of opportunity to shape how we work and improve the experience for international employees relocating to the Netherlands.

Your role

In this unique and newly creating role, you'll play a critical part in making the employees of our clients feel at home with a focus on housing.

What you will be doing:

Support our clients and their international employees relocating to the Netherlands with housing-related questions and solutions.

Own a portfolio of end-to-end client housing searches and monitor ongoing housing cases from start to finish.

Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with housing providers, landlords, agents, and other external partners.

Resolve escalations and answer key housing questions of users and clients.

Monitor vendor performance and help improve quality, availability, and service levels.

Stay up to date with developments in the Dutch housing market and relevant housing legislation.

Advise internal teams on housing-related topics and best practices.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Train and update clients and recruitment teams on housing regulations, developments, and how to manage expectations.

Help establish and scale Settly's housing practice as the business grows.

Handle escalations and complex housing situations with professionalism and empathy.

Collaborate closely with our Relocation and Customer Success teams.

About you

3-5 years of experience within the Dutch housing market

Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust with both clients and partners.

Excellent customer service skills and a genuine desire to help others.

A proactive, solution-driven mindset and the ability to think creatively when challenges arise

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams.

Native-level English (spoken and written).

Living in or around Amsterdam.

Full driver's license. Comfortable cycling around the city to visit properties or clients when needed.

Bonus points (not a must have)

Experience in relocation/global mobility

Previous experience in start-up or scale-up environment
