Are you highly detail-oriented, comfortable working behind the scenes, and experienced in managing reservations, OTAs, and payments?
Copenhagen Downtown Hostel is looking for a Back Office Supervisor to join our team. This is a key operational role focused on keeping our reservations accurate, our booking channels running smoothly, and our payments properly reconciled.
If you're confident working with MEWS, know your way around OTA platforms, and enjoy solving booking and payment issues before they become problems, you'll play an important role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing: Reservations & MEWS
- Overseeing and maintaining our MEWS PMS workflows
- Identifying and correcting booking issues such as incorrect rates, room types, failed payments, duplicate reservations, mapping errors, and data inconsistencies
- Ensuring reservation information is accurate across all booking channels
- Resolving discrepancies between MEWS and external booking platforms
- Supporting the team with complex reservation-related issues
OTA Management
- Managing our main OTA platforms, including Booking.com, Hostelworld, Expedia, Airbnb, and others
- Ensuring rate parity and accurate availability across all channels
- Monitoring channel synchronization and resolving errors
- Handling overbookings, channel discrepancies, and other OTA-related issues
- Maintaining strong and accurate connections between OTAs and MEWS
Payments & Reconciliation
- Performing daily payment reconciliations across OTAs and MEWS
- Tracking missing payments, chargebacks, payout delays, and failed transactions
- Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies
- Preparing weekly reconciliation summaries for management
- Helping ensure our financial and reservation data is accurate and up to date
About You
- You have proven professional experience working with MEWS
- You are highly confident fixing bookings and handling PMS-related issues
- You have strong hands-on experience with OTA platforms and channel management
- You are highly detail-oriented and accurate
- You enjoy solving problems and investigating discrepancies
- You can work independently and proactively
- You have strong communication skills and are comfortable working with both internal teams and external partners
- Experience in hostel or hotel operations is an advantage
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
Important: Hands-on MEWS experience is essential for this position. You should be confident managing booking corrections, OTA coordination, and payment reconciliations independently.
