Would you like a varied role where you combine working with people, visiting accommodation locations and taking responsibility for quality and safety?
As an Accommodation Controller, you will play an important role in making sure our accommodation locations are safe, comfortable and well managed. No two days are exactly the same: one moment you may be carrying out an inspection, and the next you may be helping a resident, documenting your findings or solving a practical issue.
You will join a close-knit team consisting of a Team Leader and around five colleagues. Together, you will make sure that our accommodation locations are safe, well managed and meet the required quality standards.
What will you do?
Your responsibilities include:
- Inspecting accommodation locations and checking their overall condition.
- Ensuring locations meet our internal quality requirements and SNF standards.
- Taking photos and documenting findings during inspections.
- Explaining accommodation rules to residents in a clear and respectful way.
- Issuing warnings when rules are not followed.
- Carrying out administrative tasks and working with different internal systems.
- Conducting short intake conversations with newly arrived employees.
- Responding to emergencies and taking action when necessary.
- Taking part in the on-call schedule for urgent situations.
Your regular working hours are 08:30 to 17:00. As part of the role, you will also take part in the on-call schedule, which means being available on average every second weekend in case of emergencies.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is practical, responsible and confident when communicating with different people and cultures.You:
- Have communicative English.
- Speak an additional European language as a plus, such as Polish, Romanian, Lithuanian, Spanish or Portuguese.
- Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Are comfortable working with computers and the various systems used in daily work.
- Are assertive and able to communicate clearly.
- Have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Can deal with difficult situations and conflicts in a professional way.
- Work independently and take responsibility.
- Are in good physical condition due to regular accommodation inspections.
- Ideally have experience in security, facility management, accommodation management or a similar environment.
