Supply Planning Manager Auto EMEA
Lead Planning Excellence Across Europe
At AkzoNobel, we're looking for an experienced and inspiring Supply Planning Manager Auto EMEA to lead our planning operations across the Automotive business in the EMEA region.
This is a highly visible leadership role where you will drive operational excellence and develop a high-performing planning organization. As a key member of the AUTO EMEA management team, you will influence strategic decisions and ensure the right balance between inventory, cost, and operational efficiency.
About the Role
- Lead and develop a team of production and material planning professionals.
- Drive best-in-class planning performance across the EMEA Automotive business.
- Own the end-to-end Supply Planning process for Automotive EMEA, including OTIF, inventory management, and SLOB reduction.
- Lead cross-functional decision-making with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service, and Commercial teams.
- Manage supply risks, capacity constraints, and scenario planning to ensure business continuity.
- Champion continuous improvement and planning excellence through governance, standardization, and data-driven decision making.
About you
- Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 6 years’ experience in Supply Planning, Operations Manufacturing Planning, S&OP or IBP.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
- Experience within FMCG, Manufacturing, Coatings, Paints, Chemicals, or Retail environments.
- Strong SAP ECC and Power BI knowledge.
- Excellent stakeholder management and change leadership capabilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
