Job description
We are looking for a researcher for a 25% position during five months for teaching in course CH2010 Cognitive Interaction Design. This assignment will involve being the course leader for CH2010, ‘Cognitive Interaction Design’ which is a 7.5-credit course. This course typically has 30-40 students from the Masters of Technology, Work, and Health and the Masters of Sports Technology.
This assignment will include preparations for teaching, setting up the course webpage on the Canvas learning platform, delivering lectures and seminars, providing guidance and feedback on assignments, and conducting evaluations and examinations in accordance with the published ILOs and course content.
The work will take place at the KTH Flemingsberg campus with possibility for some digital work, following agreement from both parties.
Qualifications
Requirements
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree.
- The applicant should have completed doctoral studies in: Ergonomics, Human Factors, Cognitive science, usability, or Product design.
- You have pedagogic experience, including leading a course.
- Oral and written fluency in English is required, since the course is offered in English.
As a person, you are collaborative with strong communication skills and you can also take initiative to accomplish goals independently. You have the ability to coordinate, manage, and lead a course independently.
Preferred qualifications
- We prefer that you have experience teaching these topics: Ergonomics, Human Factors, Cognitive science, usability, or Product design. Ideally this teaching experience is in English and at the Masters level.
- It is meritorious if you have experience using the Canvas learning management system (LMS).
- It is meritorious if you have performed and published research in the areas of: Ergonomics, Human Factors, Cognitive science, usability, built environment, or Product design.
- Knowledge of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality
- Good knowledge of KTH education and administrative guidelines
