The services to be provided for the Senior SQL & Cloud DBA Profile aim to ensure the administration, operation, monitoring, and optimization of the client's database platforms, guaranteeing their availability, performance, security, and integrity, in accordance with previously established rules.

Responsibilities

Database Management System (DBMS) Administration: SQL Server and PostgreSQL;
Azure SQL Managed Instance;
GCP Cloud SQL;
Relational and NoSQL data modeling;
Query optimization and performance tuning;
Execution of backup, recovery and high availability (clustering, replication);
ETL, data integration and real-time ingestion (e.g., Azure Event Hubs, Pub/Sub GCP);
Open Data Management and open data;
Monitor performance and availability;
Supporting migration and technological modernization projects;
Optimize queries and data models;
Ensuring security (encryption, access control and GDPR compliance) and
data compliance;
Support development and integration teams;
To develop technical documentation for existing technological platforms;
To prepare technical reports on technological advancements.

Mandatory requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or Data Science or a minimum of 6 (six) years of professional experience in Database Management.
Participation in data migration or modernization projects;
Experience with IoT data streams or integration with external systems.
CertificationMicrosoft Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) or PostgreSQL Certification.
