German Student Community Associate

Subscribed is looking for a German-speaking Student Community Associate to join our passionated team and help drive our growth in Germany. We're on a journey to become Europe’s leading subscription brand house - and you’ll play an important role in building our brands and community in Germany.

Subscribed is an award-winning subscription company behind the well-known brands Elome, Barberklingen, and Kaffedrengen.

We started in 2016 with a mission to challenge the big brands by offering top-quality products at a fair price. Since then, we’ve grown to more than 140,000 members. Along the way, we’ve won several e-commerce awards and Børsen Gazelle awards, while building a strong community with tens of thousands of five-star reviews.

We’re a team of around 20 passionated colleagues who love what we do and work every day to create a simple, fair, and great experience for all our members.

Your responsibilities

As our German-speaking Student Community Associate, you’ll be one of our local voices in Germany and help make sure our brands feel truly relevant to our German customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Customer support & community management: Engage directly with our German community. You'll manage inquiries on the following channels:

  • Phone
  • Email
  • Social Media
  • Comments
  • DMs

• Content creation: Get in front of the camera and help us bring Elome’s message to life for a German audience.

• Marketing campaigns: Support the planning and execution of campaigns and initiatives specifically for the German market.

• Local insights: Be the voice of our German customers internally by sharing feedback, trends and insights that can help us improve our products, communication and marketing.

You’ll work closely with our CEO, COO and our German-speaking Marketing Associate, giving you plenty of responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact on how we grow in Germany. You’ll also work closely with our in-house Creative team, with videographers and content creators

About you

• Native German speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptionally strong writer who can make complex topics simple, clear and easy to understand
• A natural feel for language, tone of voice and what sounds genuinely German - not translated
• Comfortable communicating directly with customers across email, social media, DMs and phone
• Comfortable in front of the camera (or excited to learn), and keen to create engaging content for content for our German market
• Understands social media and has a good sense of what makes content and communication engaging
• Curious about marketing, e-commerce and what makes consumers tick
• Proactive, structured and comfortable taking ownership
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment - where ideas quickly turn into action
