Warehouse Coördinator

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for executing day-to-day warehouse activities, while maintaining data entry into the Inventory Control System (ICS) and adhering to all applicable procedures and safety regulations.

senior warehouse coordinator, warehouse manager or operations manager as applicable

None

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs daily warehouse activities including pulling, packing, staging, receiving, returns, and cleaning.
• Ensures all warehouse tasks are completed according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and in a timely manner.
• Accurately enters data into the Inventory Control System (ICS).
• Notifies Supervisor, QA or other relevant personnel of any discrepancies, incidents, or potential Quality issues.
• Follows all health and safety guidelines and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintains awareness of temperature-controlled storage requirements during handling of medicinal products.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• Educated to standard GCSE level or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good English reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate warehouse systems.
• Physically capable of lifting and manual handling.
• Awareness of GDP/GMP regulations is an advantage.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Lifting of materials up to 50lbs and use of warehouse equipment is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to the warehouse and operations (packaging) environment including occasional exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and training will be provided.
