About the role:
As a NDT intern, you will support activities related to the development of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques. These activities will involve using ultrasonic methods. Additionally, you will assist the technical team across its multiple projects. This is 25 hours per week paid internship. Starting in September with a total duration of 6 months.
You will report to the NDT Technology Manager and be located at our HQ in San Sebastián de los Reyes. This is a on site position and you will be eligible to receive course credit.
Main Responsibilities:
- Development and optimization of inspection techniques using Non-Destructive Testing methods.
- Support in the preparation of procedures, technical reports, and technical justifications.
- Participation in R&D projects focused on the development of new inspection techniques and capabilities.
- Preparation and execution of experimental testing activities.
- Preparation and management of technical documentation associated with the department's activities.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor or master's degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Chemistry or related.
- Knowledge of, or experience with, CAD and technical drawing software (AutoCAD or similar).
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with programming and data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, or similar).
- Interest in research, innovation, and technological development.
