ROLE PURPOSE The Configuration Center Technical Team Leader plays a crucial role in the European Master Distribution Centre (EMDC), ensuring the effective management and coordination of technical operations. This position requires a skilled leader who can oversee the technical team, manage configuration processes, and ensure the smooth execution of daily activities. As the Configuration Center Technical Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to your team. You will oversee the implementation and maintenance of configuration management processes, ensuring that all system configurations are accurate and up-to-date. Your role will involve close collaboration with project managers, stakeholders, and other technical teams and third party supplier to ensure that configuration management practices align with the organization's goals and standards. In this role, you will lead a team of technical specialists, providing mentorship and support to help them achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring that all technical activities are completed on time and to the highest standards. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the EMDC. The Configuration Center Technical Team Leader will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. You will prepare and present regular reports on the performance of the technical team and the status of configuration management processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. To succeed in this role, you will need a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Your organizational and problem-solving abilities will be critical in managing the complexities of the EMDC's technical operations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will be working with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve the EMDC's objectives.### Key Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES* Daily Operations Management:

Oversee daily tasks at the European Master Distribution Center (EMDC).

Conduct daily meetings with the EMDC technical team to track daily production operations.

Address inquiries from the DSV Technical Center to ensure the smooth daily production operations.

Coordinate with the production planning and production teams.

Support for Production Planning and Quality Teams:

Ensure that the production planning and quality teams receive all necessary support to perform their tasks. Don´t understand the question,

Escalate potential issues appropriately and follow the company’s established channels for such matters.

Continuous Improvement Program:
-
Maintain and develop the continuous improvement program at the EMDC.

Daily Communications with DSV:
-
Manage daily communications with DSV regarding production and quality.

Invoice Tracking and Review:
-
Track and review the monthly invoice from DSV related to production activities, including production hours, technical support hours, work order pallets, etc.

Quality Management System (QMS):
-
Maintain the EMDC Quality Management System (QMS) with the support of the Quality team.

Employee Performance and Development Review (EPDR):
-
Team Management and Support, oversee, support, and develop the engineering team to ensure their growth and success.

Manage the performance of the team including the EPDR of direct reports and acting as a secondary reviewer for dotted line employees.

Escalation and Support: Serve as the escalation point for the team, stepping in to assist with production engineering tasks as needed. This includes providing support and helping to reduce the team's daily workload with the next tasks:
- Non-conformity management.
- Creation and maintenance of Work Instructions (WIs).
- TSAL control.
- Process changes requests.
- MPP activities.
- Working agreements.
- Production audits.
- NSI support.
- NPI process.
- Pilots for new products.

Third-Party Environment Coordination:
o Ensure effective coordination and communication with third-party partners involved in production activities. o Monitor and manage third-party compliance with company standards and procedures. o Address and resolve any issues arising from third-party interactions to maintain smooth production operations.### Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS* Manufacturing Lines Experience: Proven experience working with manufacturing lines, understanding the complexities and requirements of production environments.
- Electromechanical Background: Strong knowledge and experience in electromechanical systems, ensuring effective management and troubleshooting of technical issues.
- Lean & Six Sigma: Expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within the configuration center.
Additional Requirements* Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Leadership Experience: experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, such as CAD, ERP systems, and other relevant technologies.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Project Management
