We also collaborate with partners on the development of TransCon-based products in other therapeutic areas and markets.
We are seeking a motivated Student Assistant to join our Core Functions team within Global IT. As a key member of the team, you will help support and develop data solutions used across Finance, HR, Quality, and Product Supply. You will gain hands-on experience with enterprise data platforms, reporting solutions, and modern cloud technologies while working alongside experienced Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Product Owners.

You will be joining a collaborative team environment where learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement are part of our daily work.
You will report directly to Rosa Falk Badensø, Director, IT Product Ownership, Global IT, and will be based in Hellerup, Denmark.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Support development and maintenance of data products and reporting solutions.
- Assist in migrating data objects, data flows, and related solutions to Ascendis Pharma’s new Databricks platform.
- Support testing, validation, and quality assurance of datasets and reporting solutions.
- Help document data models, processes, technical solutions, and ways of working.
- Participate in troubleshooting and investigation of data and reporting issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvements of our analytics and data platform.
- Support various operational and administrative tasks within the team.
Qualifications and Skills
It is a requirement that you are actively studying.
Ideally, you are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, IT, Mathematics, Economics, Business Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
Most importantly, you are curious, eager to learn, and motivated by solving problems using technology and data. You work in a structured manner, pay attention to details, and enjoy collaborating with others.
Furthermore, you have:
- An interest in data, analytics, and modern technologies.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and data concepts.
- Familiarity with Databricks, Python, Power BI, Azure, or similar technologies is an advantage.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and ways of working.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to your work.

Work hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week. We want you to be able to balance your studies and work responsibilities and therefore offer flexibility during exam periods.
