As a power engineer with our clients around Västerås, you are responsible for the design, development, and dimensioning of power systems and electrical installations. The roles often include working with power systems, relay protection, and control installations as well as technical analyses and network studies to ensure reliable and efficient solutions. You prepare technical documentation, drawings, and specifications and work on the dimensioning and selection of electrical components and systems. Furthermore, you participate in testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of power installations and ensure that technical solutions comply with applicable standards, requirements, and regulations. You are involved throughout the various phases of the project, from feasibility studies and design to installation, testing, and commissioning. The work is conducted in close collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams to develop and implement safe, reliable, and sustainable power solutions.

What we expect from you

As a person, you are meticulous, and you need to be able to translate ideas and concepts into practical and functional solutions through design, technical analysis, and collaboration with various stakeholders. We place great emphasis on your personal commitment and your willingness to drive your development forward. Since the work involves continuous improvements, you are motivated by this and find it interesting. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in electrical power and enjoys working both technically and project-oriented.

To succeed in the role, we prefer that you have:

• At least 2–3 years of experience in electrical power or energy systems
• An academic engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education
• Experience in power calculations, planning, and technical documentation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with at least one power analysis tool
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written What you can expect from us
