Product Quality Engineer
At Koenigsegg, quality is engineered from the start. As a Product Quality Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of Engineering, Production, and Suppliers to solve complex technical challenges and help deliver some of the world's most advanced Megacars.
What you'll do
- Lead complex quality investigations using methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, A3, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Drive resolution of issues related to product design, manufacturing, assembly, suppliers, materials, and process variation.
- Coordinate containment, corrective, and preventive actions while ensuring robust verification of implemented solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Design Engineering to improve product robustness, manufacturability, and reliability.
- Support production teams with hands-on problem solving on the shop floor.
- Contribute to product development through DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, design reviews, and risk assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain quality documentation, standards, and compliance with automotive quality requirements.
Skills & Requirements
Who you are
You are an analytical, hands-on engineer with a passion for solving complex problems. You take ownership, challenge existing ways of working, and collaborate effectively across functions in a fast-paced environment.
We believe you have
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or manufacturing quality.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, metrology, DFMEA/PFMEA, APQP/PPAP, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience with ERP/MES/QMS systems and supplier quality is an advantage.
- Experience in root cause analysis, using structured quality methodologies to resolve product design, manufacturing, assembly, and human relation deviations.
- Experience working and leading cross-functional teams - solving complex manufacturing issues.
Experience from high-performance automotive, motorsport, aerospace, or low-volume manufacturing is highly valued. Experience with composites, EV technologies, prototype builds, or launch quality is considered a plus.
