SAP BW Consultant

We are looking for a Senior SAP BW Consultant to join a small team on a temporary basis. The role involves a combination of Change and Business-as-Usual (BAU) activities within the SAP BW landscape.

The consultant will be responsible for translating business needs into effective SAP BW solutions, including the design, development, testing, and implementation of enhancements and reports. In addition, the consultant is expected to proactively engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define business requirements, and to independently drive these requirements through to delivery.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical SAP BW expertise with solid business analysis and stakeholder management skills, and is comfortable working in a dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy.

Hard skills

BW basic; BW workbench (standard BW certification)

LSA architecture knowledge

BW basic; process chain and monitoring understanding

Having worked with several SAP Modules/datasources (SAP Finance is a must)

ABAP knowledge; being able to produce dataflows with startroutines, infosources, endroutines, fieldroutines

and to enhance datasources in SAP Source systems (debug experience a must)

Experience with BW Analysis Process Designer

Business Objects – Webi – being able to produce a report from scratch

Being able to align with ‘customers’ on requirements

Analysis for Office Workbooks ‘expert’

Experience End-to-end for more than one project

Nice to have

Authorisations knowledge

Business objects; understanding of the building blocks/functions in CMC

Scrum/agile understanding

Azure fundamentals knowledge (AZ-900 is mandatory)

Azure data factory knowledge
