Executive Summary
IT Solutions Worldwide B.V. is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled HVAC Service Technician on behalf
of our client for an immediate, full-time assignment based in Spijkenisse, Netherlands.
In this vital technical role, you will be responsible for the independent maintenance, repair, and optimization
of mechanical HVAC installations within an industrial environment. You will act as an on-site entrepreneur,
working closely with clients and maintenance engineers to ensure a healthy and comfortable climate, taking
full ownership of your daily task planning and material procurement.
This position requires an enthusiastic, self-driven professional with a cool head under pressure, capable of
switching rapidly between tasks while delivering creative, technical solutions and maintaining strong,
collaborative client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance & Repair Execution
- Independently perform comprehensive maintenance and repair work on various mechanical HVAC
and cooling installations in industrial settings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimize client
downtime.
- Participate in the rotational on-call breakdown service (including evenings and weekends) every few
weeks to ensure continuous operational support.
2. Operational Coordination & Procurement
- Autonomously identify, order, and manage the necessary materials and parts required for daily
repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate daily activities and schedules directly with the lead maintenance engineer
(beheertechnicus).
- Engage and coordinate with internal colleagues and external subcontractors for complex or large-
scale maintenance interventions.
3. Client Relations & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the primary operational liaison for clients on-site, effectively scheduling work activities and
addressing customer inquiries.
- Translate client needs and interests into practical, high-quality technical solutions.
- Work within a dedicated contract team (alongside contract managers and service coordinators)
while operating highly independently in the field.
Required Profile & Qualification
Professional Experience
- Completed MBO Level 3 diploma as a Service Technician.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience in installation technology.
- Possession of a valid Category B driver's license.

requirements into effective technical solutions.

executing end-to-end maintenance.

functional team coordination.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated capability to switch quickly between different tasks and environments
