Apply directly with the employer or job board. Applications are never handled here.
We are looking for a postdoc to join our team at the Division of Energy Technology (Dept. of Environmental and Energy Sciences). Become part of our research group on fluidization and contribute to impactful research in carbon capture within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
About us
At the Division of Energy Technology, we develop and analyse sustainable energy systems and advance technologies for energy conversion and climate mitigation. Through strong national and international collaboration, we unite experimental and theoretical research to create efficient, low-emission solutions, driving the transition towards carbon-neutrality in the energy and industry sectors.
About the research project
You will join FlexCSAR, an EU-project aiming to develop a flexible adsorption-based technology for capturing CO₂ from flue gases. Unlike conventional liquid-solvent methods or fixed bed adsorption, FlexCSAR targets a gas-solids fluidized bed system. By being able to flexibly run on low-grade heat in combination with vacuum and heat pumps, FlexCSAR enables optimized operation based on the availability and prices of electricity and heat.
