If you have a passion for data, enjoy understanding the business context behind it, and like tracing where data comes from and how it flows through systems, this role could be a great fit. You will combine data analysis, data modelling, backend/API development, and quality assurance while driving modern technical setups in the sustainability space.
RESPOSIBILITIES
- Understand data sources, lineage, definitions, ownership, quality, and business context.
- Translate business requirements into data models
- Build and improve SQL queries, data models, integrations, and backend services.
- Define validation rules, test data flows, detect quality issues early, and support resolution.
- Document data structures, business rules, interfaces, and key solution decisions clearly.
- Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve documentation, testing, and delivery speed. QUALIFICATIONS
- Several years of experience in data engineering, BI, analytics, backend development, or a comparable role.
- Expertise in Databricks and SQL based data modelling
- Ability to understand complex data quickly and explain it clearly to business and technical audiences.
- Structured approach to testing, validation, defect analysis, and documentation.
- Familiarity with Git and AI-assisted development
