At Conservatorium Maastricht, you will help shape the artistic and professional development of talented students and contribute to an inspiring international learning environment where artistic excellence, collaboration, and innovation are at the heart of everything we do.
About the position
Due to the retirement of the current Main Subject Trumpet Teacher in September 2027, the Jazz Department is looking for a new colleague to join us.

A skilled communicator across cultures and a driven personality who takes initiative, ownership, and thinks creatively and solution-oriented. The candidate should possess teaching experience in higher music education and be regularly working with other internationally acclaimed musicians as a leader or sideman. Aside from his/her artistic profile, he/she should have a broad background in various styles of jazz and popular music.
