Geely Europe Innovation & Collaboration AB is a shared competence and service center for Geely companies in Sweden and Europe. Providing expertise and support in staff functions such as IT, HR, Legal, Finance, Tax, Real Estate Development and Facility Management.

We are looking for a Category Buyer to join our team at Geely and take ownership of assigned procurement categories across the organization. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring that our sourcing activities deliver the right balance of cost, quality, compliance and delivery performance, while supporting our overall business strategy and growth.

You will work closely with management, business stakeholders and procurement colleagues across the organization, giving you the opportunity to operate in an international and dynamic environment.

The role has a dual reporting line, with business-related matters aligned with Geely HQ IDP and people-related administration reporting to the local Head of C.O.

The primary objectives of this role is to develop and implement category strategies, including spend and supplier-base analysis, risk and compliance assessments, and regular executive reporting.

• Work closely with management, business stakeholders and procurement teams to develop and execute roadmaps that deliver cost savings and department KPIs.
• Conduct market benchmarking and monitor market trends to identify sourcing and cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiations, purchase orders, supplier payment follow-up and contract management.
• Develop and maintain procurement processes that strengthen procurement’s influence in upstream business decisions.
• Manage and develop supplier performance with a focus on compliance, quality and on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, efficiency and process improvements.
• Support the wider procurement team with additional assignments and initiatives when required.

We are looking for a commercially minded and solution-oriented procurement professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced and evolving environment and experience and skills required is

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• Experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
• A strong understanding of both business needs and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems and the ability to quickly learn new digital tools.
• A structured and solution-oriented approach, with the determination to solve complex problems.
• The ability to work effectively in an unstructured and rapidly changing environment.
• A strong drive to go the extra mile and the ability to manage pressure and competing priorities.
• Experience working in Europe is highly valued.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English.

Experience within Digital Services, Shared Services or similar categories is considered a strong advantage.
