We efficiently plan, align and implement the procurement scope of New Product Introduction projects - in a safe, high-quality, timely and cost-effective way. We are currently a team of 9 skilled international Project Managers co-located at Vestas' headquarters in Aarhus and look forward to adding another.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage New Product Introduction projects within Procurement in close cooperation with R&D, Manufacturing and other key functions
- Bring Procurement strategies and tactical plans into action when carrying out the projects
- Take full ownership of all deliverables from Procurement in your projects according to Vestas' governance models while engaging and reporting to relevant stakeholders
- Deliver on agreed project scope and targets, ensuring safety while balancing quality, time, cost, resources, risks and benefits
- Ensure supply chain readiness throughout the development projects until global production ramp-up
- Be responsible for Procurement budgets in all your projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years as Project Manager, preferably in production companies with a global supply chain
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in project management, management discipline, supply chain or engineering
- Hold a project management certification such as Prince2, IPMA C, PMP or similar
We prefer:
- Experience with Procurement and New Product Introduction
- Experience in leading project teams with remote team members
- Experience working in a matrix organization
- Solid communication and presentation skills in English, both verbally and in writing

- You communicate upwards, outwards and downwards in an open, direct and straightforward way to ensure full transparency and alignment
You bring curiosity to your projects and carry them out with focus, collaboration, stakeholder coordination, and what is best for Vestas.
