Role overview We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join a project with one of our public-sector clients in Warsaw. You will work within an established ServiceNow team, alongside the platform’s Architect and Administrator, helping turn business needs into code, configuration, and custom solutions on the platform. In this role you will spend most of your time building: implementing customisations, writing scripts, designing workflows, integrating ServiceNow with surrounding systems, reviewing code, fixing bugs, and shipping upgrades.
Requirements The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Build and ship configurations, customisations and scoped apps on ServiceNow.
- Write platform code (JavaScript / GlideScript, business rules, client/server scripts, UI policies, workflows).
- Integrate ServiceNow with surrounding systems (REST, SOAP, SSO, LDAP).
- Maintain the platform end-to-end and the underlying MariaDB database.
- Apply ServiceNow upgrades and patches without breaking existing customisations.
- Investigate incidents, fix bugs, and review code to keep quality high.
- Produce technical documentation, SOPs and knowledge base articles.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- At least 5 years of relevant IT professional experience.
- At least 2 years in a similar a ServiceNow Developer position.
- Both ServiceNow certifications (or equivalent): Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Hands-on experience building custom apps, scoped applications, business rules, scripts and workflows on ServiceNow.
- DevOps experience on ServiceNow.
- Integration tech: REST, Web Services, SSO, LDAP.
- English at B2 level (CEFR) or higher.
Nice to have (not required):
- Broader ServiceNow modules (ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps).
- ITIL / Service Management background.
- Previous EU institution / public-sector experience.
