What You'll Do
Enterprise Services (ES) was established in 2022 to provide efficient, resilient, and scalable services to support the evolving needs and complexities of a more digital BCG. ES brings together business-critical operations - such as Procurement & Payables, Global Finance Operations, and Executive Support Services - alongside specialist expertise including Real Estate, Travel, and Meetings & Events. United by a common service mindset, ES enables every BCGer to focus on the work that matters most by giving time and energy back through streamlined, reliable service delivery. In doing so, ES creates cost advantage and strengthens BCG’s market differentiation, while reducing risk through consistent controls and business continuity. Through scalable platforms and globally integrated ways of working across our strategic core global hubs, Enterprise Services enhances agility and helps unlock the potential of those who advance the world.
Enterprise Procurement & Payables (EP&P) helps maximize value from BCG's supplier relationships while ensuring strong governance, responsible risk management, and operational resilience across the supplier lifecycle.
As Global Supplier Risk & Governance Director, you will lead the evolution of BCG's supplier governance capability, establishing the frameworks, operating models, and strategic programs that ensure our global supplier base remains resilient, compliant, and aligned with BCG's business priorities.
Reporting to the Senior Director responsible for Strategic Supplier Management, you will shape the future direction of supplier governance across Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), ESG, supplier performance, policy, client assurance, and supplier lifecycle management. Working across Procurement, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Technology, and Enterprise Services, you will translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into scalable governance capabilities that protect BCG while enabling the business. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Supplier Management & Governance
- Define and evolve BCG's Strategic Supplier Management framework, ensuring effective governance across the supplier lifecycle.
- Lead future-state initiatives spanning TPRM, ESG, supplier performance, supplier policy, client assurance, and supplier governance.
- Design scalable operating models that balance commercial value, operational efficiency, and enterprise risk.
- Establish governance forums, decision-making processes, and accountability structures that strengthen supplier management across the firm.
Risk, Policy & Regulatory Leadership
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Enterprise Risk, Information Security, Privacy, and other control functions to ensure supplier governance remains aligned with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Sponsor the development of policies, standards, guidance, and control frameworks supporting supplier governance.
- Provide strategic leadership during supplier incidents, regulatory changes, and client assurance activities.
- Ensure supplier governance capabilities continue to evolve alongside BCG's broader risk management strategy.
Transformation, Technology & AI
- Lead strategic transformation initiatives that modernize supplier governance through technology, automation, and AI.
- Identify opportunities to simplify supplier management processes while improving user experience and governance effectiveness.
- Partner with Product, Technology, Data, and AI teams to embed digital capabilities across supplier management.
- Use analytics and operational insights to continuously improve governance effectiveness and supplier performance.
Leadership & Stakeholder Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Procurement leadership and senior stakeholders across Enterprise Services.
- Build strong partnerships across regions and functions, influencing without formal authority to drive alignment and adoption.
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving Procurement, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Technology.
- Develop organizational capability by coaching colleagues, sharing expertise, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience leading supplier governance, procurement, third-party risk, compliance, enterprise risk, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated success designing and implementing enterprise governance frameworks.
- Deep understanding of supplier lifecycle management, TPRM, supplier governance, ESG, or related disciplines.
- Experience leading large cross-functional transformation initiatives in global organizations.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across regions and functions.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leveraging technology, automation, and AI to modernize governance capabilities.
Who You'll Work With
You will work closely with Procurement leadership, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Operations, Enterprise Risk, Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Data Privacy, Finance, Product, and Technology teams. You will also partner extensively with regional stakeholders and senior leaders across BCG to ensure supplier governance continues to evolve in support of the firm's strategic priorities.
