What to Expect Reporting to the EMEA B2B and Used Lead, the Pricing and Residual Value Manager shapes and manages Tesla’s end-to-end vehicle pricing strategy across the EMEA region. The role involves educating and interacting with key external stakeholders (including data providers and residual value setters), leading a team of analysts, managing pricing updates, analyzing data, and providing a holistic view of all pricing and residual value related topics.
What You'll Do* Manage education of new vehicle data providers and coordinate updates for price books, product specifications, and related data streams
- Measure and monitor the impact of B2B sales programs, government incentives, and price changes on vehicle affordability and total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Manage end-to-end relationships with residual value setters and oversee partnerships to ensure accurate residual value actuals and forecasts
- Own used vehicle evaluation tools and systems, leading regular reviews to right-size key parameters (e.g. expected refurbishment cost, margin buffer) with Financial Planning
- Compare internal and market data, monitoring deltas vs industry trade/retail values and tracking new-to-used price walk and residual value trends to inform strategy
- Manage analytical tools for monthly lease rate comparisons vs competitors, and serve as the go-to expert for internal pricing inquiries and guidance
- Lead a team of pricing and data analysts and produce ad hoc analyses for QBRs, executive reporting, and other key documents
What You'll Bring* Proven leadership and people management experience, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing analytical teams in a sales or commercial environment
- Proven direct experience in pricing strategy management (automotive sector or other industries), including end-to-end vehicle pricing, residual value oversight, and related market analysis
- Growth mindset, strong attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach
- Self-starter who thrives in high-pressure, international environments; highly adaptable with a strong focus on KPI management and results
