During this internship you'll learn how we measure and improve the journey of every vehicle from factory to customer, working on reports and tools for Tesla's Delivery, Logistics and Vehicle Supply teams. You will be tasked with working with real operational data, developing analysis that supports business decisions, and building the next generation of data apps, AI agents and AI tools that put answers directly in the hands of our operations teams.
What You'll Do* Support the team in building and maintaining reports and dashboards that track key delivery and logistics KPIs
- Help clean, explore and interpret operational datasets to answer business questions and help build and improve data apps, AI agents and AI-powered tools
- Test and refine AI agents against real business questions, checking their answers for accuracy and helping write the prompts, definitions and guides behind them
- Learn to use Tableau, SQL and Tesla in-house tools to automate manual reporting and make information easier to find
- Contribute to clear, simple visualizations that communicate key insights
- Join conversations with delivery and logistics managers to understand their needs and practise presenting your findings
- Help build and check SQL data sources for EMEA vehicle operations reporting, learning best practices for data accuracy under team guidance
What You'll Bring* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain)
- Basic familiarity with SQL and Excel; exposure to Tableau (or Power BI) or Python through coursework or projects is a plus
- Strong interest in AI and how it changes the way people work; hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI coding assistants or building simple web apps (e.g. Streamlit) is a big plus
- Strong quantitative skills and curiosity about how data can improve operations, logistics or supply chain
- Eagerness to learn quickly, ask questions and take ownership of tasks in a fast-paced team
- Level C1 in English (written and spoken) with a willingness to present findings
