Role description Role: Software Engineer
Location: Poland Krakow(Hybrid, 3 days work from office)
6 Months contract
Experience 7 to 11
Skills: Java, Node.JS, PostgreSQL
Responsibilities
- Design build and maintain internal tooling that supports Future State Architecture FSA initiatives across CTO Platforms
- Develop backend services and APIs using Nodejs andor Java
- Integrate applications with PostgreSQL and other enterprise data sources
- Design and enhance webbased user interfaces for architects and engineering teams
- Build and manage agentic AI workflows using autonomous AI agents
- Orchestrate AI agents to automate software build testing deployment and engineering tasks
- Implement MCP toolcalling functioncalling and API integration patterns
- Collaborate with architects platform engineers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure solutions meet security resilience performance testing observability and supportability standards
- Contribute to code reviews automation DevOps practices and operational support
- Continuously improve internal tooling engineering processes and platform capabilities
To be successful in this role you should have
- Strong software engineering expertise using Nodejs andor Java
- Experience designing and developing enterprise backend services and APIs
- Strong PostgreSQL experience including data modelling and query optimisation
- Experience with modern JavaScriptTypeScriptbased UI frameworks
- Knowledge of Agentic AI and Autonomous AI Agent orchestration
- Experience implementing MCP Model Context Protocol
- Experience with Tool Calling and Function Calling integration patterns
- Strong API Design and Integration experience
- Solution Design and Architecture experience for enterprise platforms and tooling
- Strong understanding of Production Engineering practices including
