Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Infrastructure: Maintain and improve a Raspberry Pi based multi node system for data collection in our application lab
- Sensor Integration: Add new sensors and support the integration of existing ones into the system
- Interfaces: Develop and enhance graphical user interfaces (GUI) and data visualization tools
- ROS Architecture: Operate within a Robot Operating System (ROS) architecture to manage nodes, topics, and data pipelines
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues across hardware and software layers
- Documentation: Write clear technical documentation and guidelines to support the team

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- Programming: Strong skills in C/C++ and Python or similar languages, with the ability to write clean, functional code independently
- Systems: Familiarity with Linux environments, experience with Raspberry Pi or embedded systems is a strong plus
- ROS: Experience or exposure to Robot Operating System (ROS) is highly desirable
- Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools or graphical user interface (GUI) development is a plus
- Work Style: Detail oriented and self driven, able to work independently and within a team
- Language Skills: Fluent English, German is an advantage
