Responsibilities:

The base manager is responsible for ensuring that the service provided meets standards of quality, compliance, and safety. He or she manages the base staff, ensures the reliability of the boats and compliance with regulations, and is responsible for the base’s accounting.

Depending on the size of the base and the number of staff at his or her disposal, the base manager may or may not delegate some of his or her responsibilities. Furthermore, depending on his or her initial training and level of expertise, he or she may also rely on colleagues to supplement his or her scope of work.

Responsibilities:

Customer Relations:

- Ensure that the service provided meets the customer’s expectations.

- Serve as the customer’s primary point of contact.

- Handle customer complaints (familiarity with the procedure).

Base Staff Management:

- Motivate and coordinate the team to ensure work efficiency and maintain service quality.

- Handle administrative tasks for base staff (temporary and permanent), monitor work schedules and hours worked.

Responsibility for the Fleet and Equipment:

- Participate in and supervise boat maintenance and operational condition, with support from the technical manager.

- Actively participate in planning and carrying out winter maintenance work, with support from the technical manager for planning.

- Manage claims: cost estimates, accident reports, and supervision of repairs, with support from the technical manager.

Financial and Administrative Responsibilities:

- Maintain the base’s accounting records.

- Manage and monitor the allocated budget.

- Verify invoices and monitor payments received.

- Housing available on-site

- Salary based on qualifications and experience, starting at 70K

Pay: €45.000,00 - €70.000,00 per year
