THE TEAM

You will be part of the Housekeeping team at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, working closely with Room Attendants, Housekeeping Supervisors, Laundry, Public Area Attendants, and other operational departments.

This role plays an important part in ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards, supporting the seamless operation of the resort and enhancing the overall guest experience.

YOUR ROLE

As Houseman, you will support the Housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of guest and operational areas throughout the resort. You will ensure that housekeeping supplies, linen, and equipment are readily available while contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-organized working environment.

With a hands-on approach and a strong commitment to service excellence, you will help curate the extraordinary by supporting the team in delivering exceptional experiences for our guests every day.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Support Room Attendants and Housekeeping colleagues with the daily operation of the department
• Deliver, collect, and distribute linen, towels, amenities, and housekeeping supplies throughout the resort
• Maintain housekeeping pantries, storage rooms, and back-of-house areas in a clean and organized condition
• Ensure all housekeeping equipment is properly stored, maintained, and ready for use
• Assist with the movement and placement of furniture, extra beds, baby cots, and guest requests
• Support the preparation and setup of guest rooms and public areas as required
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and operational departments
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with hotel procedures and sustainability standards
• Report maintenance concerns, damages, and safety hazards in a timely manner
• Assist with inventory management and stock control within the Housekeeping department
• Support deep-cleaning projects and special housekeeping assignments
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism at all times

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You have previous experience in Housekeeping, Public Area, or a similar operational role, ideally within hospitality.
• You are physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks throughout the day.
• You possess a strong work ethic and take pride in maintaining high standards.
• You are reliable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• You are a team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and contributing to overall success.
• You demonstrate a positive attitude and a service-oriented mindset.
• You pay attention to detail and consistently deliver quality work.
• You speak English; German language skills are an advantage.
• You are flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
