As a Services Account Executive for Public Sector, you help customers navigate their artificial intelligence transformation journey and unlock the full value of their Microsoft services investments. You work with the Services Sales team to connect Microsoft technology, services, and customer success ambitions into measurable business outcomes, with a particular focus on leading AI transformation conversations and accelerating adoption across the cloud and security portfolio.
In this role, you guide the account vision and strategic approach for services, partnering closely with account teams, delivery teams, partners, and specialists to build unified strategies that drive value realization and business growth. You lead services sales planning, orchestrate opportunities across the One Services portfolio, and engage executives to align Microsoft capabilities to customer priorities, from Unified renewals and expansions to large consulting-led AI and cloud modernization deals. You are trusted to create pipeline, secure revenue, drive renewals, and identify new opportunities that advance both customer outcomes and Microsoft’s growth ambitions.

Responsibilities
Lead the Services Sales account vision and strategic approach, providing insights and recommendations that address immediate and long‑term customer priorities while aligning to Microsoft cloud and field revenue objectives.
Drive Industry Solutions account planning with the broader Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions account team, defining Services Sales priorities, mapping Unified renewals and upsell opportunities, and positioning AI, cloud, and security outcomes aligned to customer strategy.
Orchestrate the consulting‑sales relationship across the core account team and customer success team, coordinating resources and partners to ensure a unified One Microsoft experience and successful creation and execution of the Services Sales account plan.
Engage customers well in advance of Unified contract expirations to co‑develop renewal plans, mitigate non‑renewal risks, and lead proposals and negotiations for Unified extensions, multi‑year agreements, and higher‑tier support options.
Identify, qualify, lead, and close strategic industry cloud opportunities on prioritized accounts, leveraging advanced Microsoft cloud solutions and differentiation in security and AI to increase customer business value and drive consumption.

You demonstrate a deep understanding of a customer's business and differentiate yourself in complex selling environments by sharing insights, reframing the status quo, and quantifying business impact that motivates customers to take action. You orchestrate the virtual Consulting account team, effectively influencing and collaborating with account-aligned, pursuit and delivery colleagues to bring the best resources to ensure customer success. You drive the sales cycle from lead qualification through to deal closure, effectively executing per-sales process requirements.

You leverage customer connections and the virtual Consulting account team's insight to confirm Budget, Authority, Need and Timeline (BANT) information to determine progression or lack thereof of a lead to become a consulting opportunity and throughout the Microsoft sales process. Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND proven consultative sales experience in public sector (e.g. finance, local government) or related work OR equivalent experience.

Services Account Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Denmark is kr 841,700.00 - kr 1,433,300.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
