The Group is among the largest providers of solutions in the segment of managing economic water consumption and ecological heat sources in Central Europe. FERRO operates mainly in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary and Lithuania.
To support the ongoing development of the FERRO Group and strengthen our international operations, we are currently looking for: Group Environmental Compliance Manager
Responsibilities* Monitor EU and local environmental, sustainability and product compliance regulations, assess their impact on the Ferro Group, and coordinate timely implementation across all relevant business areas.
- Lead and coordinate compliance projects related to PPWR, CBAM, EUDR and other environmental requirements, translating regulatory obligations into actionable plans, responsibilities and deadlines.
- Coordinate environmental and climate reporting, including the Group carbon footprint, sustainability KPIs, environmental objectives and climate-related risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, packaging, waste, emissions and chemical regulations, maintaining required records, reports, permits and communication with authorities.
- Manage Group-wide packaging compliance, including packaging data collection, supplier cooperation, compliance verification and support for sustainable packaging development initiatives.
- Coordinate environmental management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 50001), certification processes and audits, including corrective actions, training and continuous improvement activities.
- Develop environmental reporting, processes and tools within IFS and other systems, and provide training, guidance and support to Ferro Group companies on environmental and sustainability requirements.
Requirements* Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental compliance, environmental protection, packaging, waste management, quality systems, certification or product regulatory affairs, preferably within a manufacturing or international organization.
- University degree in Environmental Protection, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Quality Management, Chemistry, Materials Science, Environmental Law or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and requirements related to packaging, waste management, EPR, PPWR, CBAM, EUDR and environmental management systems.
- Practical experience with ISO 14001 audits; knowledge of ISO 50001 and ISO 9001 would be an advantage.
- Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into business processes, implementation plans, responsibility matrices, controls and reporting frameworks.
- Strong analytical and project coordination skills, including experience working with cross-functional teams and managing compliance initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
- Advanced English (minimum B2).
